Dear Patients and your families and loved ones;
We want to let you know that all of us at Eros Beauty and Wellness are here for you during this very difficult time. We are all in this together.
Topic of the week: Decreasing stress in a Pandemic.
We all have been affected by the pandemic in varying ways.
Here are a few things to do to help us maintain our emotional and physical health:
1.Self Care: It is essential that you continue caring for yourself during this time of staying at home. This may mean taking your medications (ask for samples if you can’t afford them; or ask for help with medication discounts.)
Take a walk daily, whether in the backyard, down the street, or up and down the hall; but if you do go outside, please wear a facial covering, and social distance a minimum of 6 feet from others not in your immediate family.
Eat well. If you are doing the grocery shopping, try to choose food from the outer aisles of the grocery store.
Try not to rely on processed food if you can. And sleep 8 hours a night.
2. Getting through any crisis is not a sprint but a marathon. Try to start your day with positivity by being grateful for even the smallest things. Do this before looking at the news, or looking at your laptop, or before any other activity that will take you away from mindfulness. Once you have done this, plan your day. Everyday try to structure your routine.
3. Even though we are having to stay at home and must do Social Distancing, we still need social connection. If you are tech savvy, have a Zoom get together with family and friends. If you are not tech savvy, pick up the phone and call friends and loved ones.
Send cards –just because. There are many senior homes that would love to have some sort of communication. Send cards to them.
4. How you feel is how your perspective is shaped. Focus on the good around you. If you are struggling with depression and anxiety, give us a call. We can help.
+++Remember that we are here for virtual visits. Don’t let your health suffer during this time. ++++++
