Skin Resurfacing

Sublative Rejuvenation (also known as eMatrix treatment) is a laser treatment that uses radiofrequency to correct various skin issues, including wrinkles, scarring, texture, and overall radiance. Sublative is a step above other skin resurfacing treatments because it allows for deeper skin penetration, allowing the treatment to reach underlying areas and spur new collagen production.

The energy being used, whether it’s laser or light, to achieve the desired results must be delivered below the skin without overheating and damaging the top layer of skin. This effect has been a challenge to overcome with other more aggressive treatments because they work by overheating the top layer of the skin to the point of complete removal, forcing new skin to develop while also requiring a significant amount of recovery time.

Sublative Rejuvenation uses fractional bi-polar radio frequency that penetrates through the skin, sending more of that powerful energy beneath the skin’s surface. In the process, collagen production is maximized while keeping the top layer of the skin protected. As a result, it’s safe for all skin types and requires less downtime than other treatment methods.

The Nordlys Light & Bright™ treatment uses a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and a non-ablative fractional laser to improve redness and dark spots, resurface your skin, and stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production for bright, glowing skin. The treatment is backed by clinical studies.

The Light & Bright™ treatment is a series of treatments, typically done over 3 treatment sessions. It consists of fractional non-ablative treatments (Frax 1940™) along with narrowband IPL treatment on the Nordlys system.

With Nordlys™system we offer numbing cream prior to the treatment. Most patients report treatments feeling like slight snap from a rubber band followed by a sensation similar to a light sunburn.
