Popular Facial Fillers for Wrinkles

The development of facial lines and wrinkles is part of getting older. The skin’s natural elasticity and collagen diminish, causing you to look older than you feel. Luckily, many ways to combat drooping skin and deep facial wrinkles don’t require surgery at all. Dermal fillers and Botox injections are two of the most popular ways to smooth skin for a more youthful look without surgical intervention. At Eros Beauty and Wellness, I offer various therapies to help you reveal a more youthful, radiant appearance.

For many of my patients, reducing expression lines and tightening drooping skin are high on their cosmetic treatment list. The appearance of a deep-seated scowl can make you look older and less approachable, which is why I highly recommend one of these customizable injections to targeted these frustrating lines.

Juvéderm XC & Restylane

Juvéderm and Restylane are natural, biodegradable gels that I inject into the skin for the treatment of wrinkles and fine lines. These products’ different textures make them suitable for accomplishing various aesthetic goals. Restylane is excellent for treating lips, cheeks, the area around the nose, and even the backs of the hands.

Juvéderm is for targeting fine lines in tight facial regions.

Juvéderm Voluma XC

Another typical cosmetic issue that occurs is loose skin and loss of facial volume in the cheeks. Voluma is a dermal filler from the same product family as Juvéderm, and its unique formulation lifts and contours the mid-face area.

These non-invasive injections help restore the full, youthful facial contours that were once only possible with surgery. My patients who undergo Voluma treatments notice their skin looks more youthful with more defined facial features.

Radiesse

This dermal filler helps your body produce more collagen, so you get smoother skin and longer-lasting results. I use Radiesse for the deepest lines and wrinkles in common areas such as the corners of the mouth, chin, smile lines, and the jowl areas.

Botox

Though Botox is not a filler, it may be the best-known product on our list for its ability to target wrinkles and lines on the forehead and between the eyes. Botox uses a naturally formed protein that temporarily stops the muscles’ ability to contract and form wrinkles. As the muscles stay relaxed, the wrinkles become much less prominent. Botox is a safe and effective solution for superficial signs of aging on the face and effectively treats crow’s feet, glabellar lines, and forehead wrinkles.
